We have hosted several events on our property, but we must say watching family and friends exchange vows is our favorite. Sharing the beauty of our property with the beauty of love- what a gift this property has provided for us.
It started in 2015 when we hosted a vow renewal for Michael’s sister Tammy and brother in-law Troy. They always wanted a real wedding and we had just the place. Troy brought Tammy here for a weekend that February 2015 and surprised her with a wed vow “proposal,” of course she said yes. We had secretly planned their wedding renewal set on their 10 year wedding anniversary in June. Troy proposed on the bluff, and said “we are having a wedding right here!” We had all orchestrated Tammy’s dream come true. Four short months later, they said their “I do’s.”
Fast forward 3 years, and we were approached by our dear friends Dave and Pearl, who wanted to host their wedding here as well. The guest list was set for only 10 people, but quickly grew to 30. It was beautiful, quaint, and exactly what this special couple wanted.
To be allowed to witness both these events, to host something so beautiful, we were awestruck. (You can see pictures of the events we have hosted in our gallery.) It dawned on us after the second event that we really had something special here. Something we want to share. We decided after seeing these events unfold that we would throw caution to the wind and see what happens. Beach Front Farms is now open to hosting private events on the bluff. These events will be small, quaint, beautiful events. No huge parties, just families and friends gathering. We have something amazing here, and we want to share it.
